Returning to VM

Hello all,

I have a Windows 10 VM on my Ubuntu machine. I recently start using VitrualBox and there is something extremely annoying that I wasn't able to find a solution.
Most of the time I'm using the Windows 10 VM in fullscreen and when I want to switch to another workspace ( Desktop ), the VitrualBox returns me instantly to the Workspace where the Windows VM is opened in fullscreen.
Is there any workaround for that ?

I minimize, open and minimize it again in order to just minimize it. Works for me. I'm using Mint so for me it is only a red blinking tab in the taskbar. I can imagine the same call for attention by VirtualBox which is causing my tab in the taskbar to blink red is also causing your workspace to switch back to virtualbox. Maybe there is a setting in unity to prevent it from switching to workspaces with windows that call for attention.

@VirtualBox guys: you might just want to remove that call for attention. It can't be much more than a line or a few.

@david159: you could use Mint :P

I'm not a VirtualBox guy, just a VirtualBox user, but if you can point me to the line or two than should be changed, I could definitely take a look...

Same for me, I'd have to look for hours since I never looked into the VirtualBox code. But I know Qt programming (last time I worked with it was years ago, I'm a backend dev) and as far as I remember such kind of functionality is just a function call. I just don't know the exact function from the top of my head. If I knew the line I'd change it myself. I'm just not tied in at VBox development.
