Hi,
I have 64bit windows installed on my machine. while using VB for ubuntu 16.04 LTS image ,i didn't see 64 bit option in virtual box .
it seems to be Virtualization is permanently disabled for my system as i couldn't see virtualization enable/disable option in CMOS setup.
after installing intel utility , i can see that it is disabled and there is no enable option. kindly suggest .
below is the configuration:
intel core 2 duo CPU ,T5450 @1.66GHz
memory : 2GB

Re: virtualization is disabled
According to Intel, your T5450 CPU does not support VT-x. There's not that much you can do, except get a new computer. You can't run 64-bit guests and no Windows > 7, even the 32-bit versions. Plus, it's going to be slow, since some parts of the code will have to be emulated in software.
