I can't seem to Ctrl+Break on my Windows 7 guest under Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan), VirtualBox 5.1.16. Typing Ctrl+Break on my PC keyboard seems to do the same thing as typing F2 on my MacBook Pro console: it increases the console screen brightness.
I am trying to use MS Access on my virtual PC. In Access, Ctrl+Break breaks (stops) queries.

Try the menu Input » Keyboard » Insert Ctrl-Break.
