using VB with assistive technologies enabled on host and guest systems such as screen readers

Post by gregjozk_ »

Hi,

because I'm a new user on this forum, please, excuse me, if I made any mistakes when I have posted here.
Here are my problems:
I'm a user of screen readers. My main host os is currently W10 (64-bit).
For my job I must often test various programs and find accessibility imcompatibilities with assistive technologies. Sadly, here is a problem:
as I researched a VB is not completely accessible for users of screen readers. Details of this problem have been written in ticket #629.
I'm asking you:
- is there any work around to avoid gui problems (as I know, command line is not valuable option, because, I can not run iso images or exicutables through it). It means, that I cannot instal an os into my newly created VM.
- How can I observe a progress which would be made on accessibility? As @Frank (developer) wrote in comment 22 in ticket #629, this feature is worked on.
Thanks for your help.

Regards, Jožef
