upgrade to new version

Hi,
I'm running Virtualbox 5.1.14 on openSUSE Leap 42.1 and have no problems.
Oracle informed that a new version of virtualbox exists and I wanted to install Vb 5.1.16 but it's not working.
Is there a guide on how to upgrade virtualbox on linux to a newer version?
