I have installed a Windows 7 guest on my iMac11.2, i3 core.
What are the optimal settings for the motherboard, cpu and acceleration tab in Vbox?
Best regards

Re: Optimal settings
The defaults from the template when you created the guest. That's why there is a template to begin with.beam_me_up wrote:What are the optimal settings
That is besides the RAM and CPUs. Those two values you should adjust according to the available resources of your host. You'd want to give the most to your guest, without "endangering" your host. I can take a look at what you have available and suggest appropriate values.
With the VM shut down completely (not paused or saved), right-click on the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log". Save the "VBox.log" (just the first one), ZIP it and attach it in your response (see the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form).
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
