Hallo

ich habe mehrere Betriebssysteme (host) installiert.
Aber egal welches System ich benutze (Linux Mint, Windows 7) und egal welches der beiden Systeme ich über die Virtualbox installiere, die 3D Hardwarebeschleunigung im Gastsystem funktioniert nirgends.
Auf dem Host funktioniert alles wunderbar. Nur auf dem Gast eben nicht.

Ich nutze eine AMD Radeon 8670 Grafikkarte. Die habe ich zu Testzwecken auch schon ausgebaut und die Onboardgrafik benutzt. Das brachte mir aber auch keinen Erfolg.

Möglicherweise liegt es an meinem Board oder an meinem Prozessor? (Intel Core i5-3450 3.10GHz)

Vielleicht hat jemand einen Rat für mich?

Please choose one VM which you think should be working, and provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Nur mal so als Frage: Auf dem Host selbst laufen Linux und Windows. Du startest manchmal Windows, darin VBOX, darin startest du das Linux, was direkt auf der Festplatte installiert ist und nicht als VDI File. So korrekt?

Und sind in den Gästen denn auch die Gasterweiterungen mit 3D installiert worden?

Richtig, ich habe 4 Betriebssysteme auf meiner 1 TB Festplatte. Win 7, Linux Mint und 2 weitere Linux Systeme.
Beim Booten wähle ich das zu startende System aus.
VBox habe ich jeweils auf Win 7 und auf Linux Mint mit den entsprechenden Gasterweiterungen (VirtualBox 5.1.14 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack) installiert.

Ich habe die VBox.log von (Host) Linux Mint und (Gast) Win 7 angehängt.
Ich musste sie komprimieren, da sie als Anhang zu groß war.

Mensch, du hast mich jetzt drauf gebracht. Ich hatte die Gasterweiterungen ohne 3D installiert, weil da ein Warnhinweis wegen experimenteller Version ausgegeben wurde.
Jetzt habe ich die Gasterweiterung mit 3D installiert und es geht.

The only thing I see in the log which I don't like is that you have the Win7-32bit template selected, but you allocated 4GB + 256MB VRAM to the VM on a host that only has 4.7GB available. In my opinion this is excessive. I'd reduce RAM to 2GB and VRAM to 128MB.

On the OpenGL, I don't see any immediate reason why it wouldn't work, except... does this host actually have hardware accelerated 3D acceleration?, i.e. hardware OpenGL? I ask because I'm only seeing X.Org as the host vendor, and isn't that a software rendered OpenGL? In which case I'm not sure it'll be any better than the guests software rendered 3D. Plus software rendered GL would I assume require RAM that isn't available because the VM has it all (VRAM assigned to the VM doesn't help the host GL to render graphics).

You are right, 4 GB Ram is too much for Win 7 32 bit. I have just tested.
Anyway, I installed the Extension Pack with 3D support and now it works fine.

Hallo ich klinke mich hier mal rein weil die 3 D Beschleunigung nicht funktioniert (Kann nicht aktiviert werden.)

Mein Wirtsystem ist Ubuntu Trusty Server mit einem Intel Xeon E3 1230 v2 @ 3.30 GH (8)

Ich habe die Gasterweiterung und Extensionpack installiert.

VBoxGuestAdditions_5.2.6.iso

Und sind in den Gästen denn auch die Gasterweiterungen mit 3D installiert worden?

Habe die Gasterweterung 5.2.7 installiert.Aber die 3 D Beschleunigigung lässt sich immer noch nicht aktivieren da ausgegraut.

Also 2 D Beschleunigung funktioniert nur bei Gastsystemen unter Windows (ab Win 2000).

Ja ich benutze VBox Headless. und konnekte via RDP.
Heist das 3D Beschleunigung unter RDP ist nicht möglich?
