No. A bug from two years ago that was fixed two years ago, has absolutely nothing to do with what symptoms you may have seen.

That is precisely why I'm going to lock this thread. Two year old bugs don't need to be resurrected, they're dead.

Your issue sounds like a misconfiguration with the Shared Folders, or something else entirely different. If you have a problem with a current VirtualBox version, please open a new thread. It's easy enough to do...
