list of compatible OS

Post by rossati »

Hello
I'm trying to use VB but all .ova or .ovf files downloaded (expensively) or they do not work for the CPU or for the lack of any CPU option.
My question is, is there unsito where for each .ova, .ovf and .iso there is the CPU request?
Thanks

Moved to "Using VirtualBox" as the question does not belong in "Windows Hosts".

We don't distribute any OVFs or OVAs, so none of us can easily comment on how suitable someone else's prepared VMs are, especially if you don't identify them.

My advice to you would be to download an x86/amd64 Linux distro of your choice in installer (ISO) form, and create the VM yourself. It is not hard to do. See chapter 1.7 of the user manual.

If you continue to have problems then please describe the problem properly, with precise error messages.
