Hi,

I am using Windows 10 64 Bit Host + Ubuntu 16.04 Guest on Virtual Box 5.1.12. Note I have updated my VirtualBox with extension Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.1.12-112440 also and downloaded VBoxGuestAdditions_5.1.12 on my host PC but with this problem I dont understand what to do with it further.

Post the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click on the guest in the Main Manager then click show log. Save and post as an attachment. Compress if it is too large to post.

Also is the guest a server or desktop version?
