Hello,
I'm updating our machines with the latest VB. The installation is fine, and VB starts as expected. I start up the VB manager to create a new virtual machine, and in the "Name" box enter a suitable VM name. I find, however, that my keyboard has been "shifted" to the right. That is, if for example I hit the "e" key I actually see an "r" in the Name box. In fact all the keys are shifted to the right. As and when VB is started I see the following warning message..
Qt WARNING: Qt: XKEYBOARD extension not present on the X server
This is a real pity since it would be good to upgrade to the latest version of VB. Does anyone understand how to work around this problem? I'm working on RedHat 6.4, and trying to use QT v4.8.5 by defining appropriate PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH variables. Any advice would be appreciated, please.
Best regards,
David
