Virtualbox error (sbin/vboxconfig)

Hello everyone , i just got a fresh install on ubuntu 16.04 and wanted to put virtualbox on my system just like i had before on my old ubuntu , the things is when i dpkg the package , i get an message telling me there was an error and i need to execute /sbin/vboxconfig again , when i try that i get the exact same message

Virtualbox is actually installed on my computer but when i load a iso and try to run the virtual machine i get an erorr telling me that it come from this /sbin/vboxconfig script . And i can't seem to run it ..

I tried to execute and install the package with the ubuntu software but same probem when i try to load a virtual machine in virtualbox

Post the exact and complete name of the package you used to install VirtualBox.

So this is not on a 64bit host, correct? Post the /var/log/vbox-install.log ( as an attachment )

Yes it is on a 64 bit host (i also tried the amd64 version and it doesn't work either , i don't have this log , might remove it when i remove virtualbox

Remove what you have now and install the 64 bit version using dpkg. Post the terminal content of the install.

I usually do an apt -f install at this point , and thats when it will give me the error on sbin/vboxconfig

It looks like dependences are getting in your way. Have you tried rebooting to see if it will clear out the cache and work properly?

I tried to disable secure boot in the bios and it worked , when i ran /sbin/vboxconfig he just Build the kernel modules and started them without any error ( i read on another forum that secure boot could be a problem)
