Adding a second vdi (partition) to XP guest

Post by crotalus »

Hi,

I am trying to add a second virtual partition to a XP guest
on a Fedora 8 host.

Everything goes fine, but although I can see the new
virtual partition as the primary slave when I put the mouse onto
the vbox disk icon, there is no letter assigned to it by windows XP.
I still only have only one partition, C:

I suppose the new partition would be E:, since the CD is D:

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

That is it. Thanks a lot.

I still have to convince myself that it is like having a real XP running.
