can't install virtualbox

can't install virtualbox

i did a dual boot by vista and hardy ( did not use wubi) but i want to install it on both os's but when i try to install it in ubuntu i keep getting this:

You post was screwed but I eventually worked out which as the relevant pic. BTW, its good netiquette to crop the pic to the relevant bit. I know what the Ubuntu Bird Looks like!

You are trying to load 1.6.2-3142 Ubuntu_Hardy_i386.deb and its telling you that i386 is the wrong architecture. Sounds to me like you've got a 64bit version of Hardy Installed. You need the 64Bit version of VBox.

i just found out i am using the 64 bit versoin of ubuntu
