Using VBox to run Win7 on a Linux (Mint) host I get the error/suggestion that I should increase my guest's video resolution. I think is said go up from 24 to 32 bits.
How do I do this? I've looked all over for the setting adjustment but can't locate anything like it.
Help please?

Use the VirtualBox main manager and look at the guest settings -> Display and increase the Video Memory. Note the guest must be shut down and not running or in saved state.
Or using the command line VBoxManage modifyvm <guest name | UUID > --vram <vramsize in MB>
