Hello guys,
Im working in a corp and I need to use VM. Ive decided to use virtualbox. The host is win 8 and the guest is fedora 25. I can access some sites like itDOTmycorponameDOTcom and some other corpo releated sites. I can use dnf (yum) (after applying corpo proxy). I can connect to this VM with ssh after some port forwarding, but I cant access sites like google etc. I can clone from github but I cant access it via browser or ping github. How is it even possible? ^^ Im truly newbie with VMs, actually it is my first contact and I dont even know what information should I post here. Im using NAT network settings. Obviously my host PC can access internet without any problems or proxies but I heard there is some hardware vpn somewhere.

Please can someone explain to me why I have that strangly limited internet conectivity?

I believe you may have answered it yourself. Corp policy. So,
  • you can browse 8.8.8.8 (google), but not google.com?
  • you can ping 8.8.8.8 and you can ping google.com?
