Hello people,

When I try to run windows and other OS Virtualbox shows the following message

The device helper structure version has changed.
If you have upgraded VirtualBox recently, please make sure you have terminated all VMs and upgraded any extension packs. If this error persists, try re-installing VirtualBox. (VERR_PDM_DEVHLPR3_VERSION_MISMATCH).

Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

Does anyone have a clue about the error? I have already reinstall it and my OS is linux mint 17.3

It looks like you have upgraded while the guest was in a saved state ( not shut down ). Is the abort icon activated in the main manager if you select the guest? Also the extension pack must match the running version of VirtualBox.

Actually the error message itself:

Did you terminate the VMs? That means that if they were in a saved state, you must discard that state. Also, make sure about the Ext. Pack being upgraded as well. Its version has to match the one from the main program.

BTW, you didn't even mention your VirtualBox version. Also, keep in mind that only the official installation is supported in these forums, not the distro's forked version (if any).
