I am looking at creating one VM and transferring that VM to multiple machines. Each machine is on the same network so I will need to modify the network Mac Address. What is the OS activation tied to. Is it as simple as remembering the MAC of each machine?

It is a lot more complicated than this (and Microsoft aren't telling).
