Scaled mode changes resolution (was working fine before)

Hi

I was running Virtualbox successfully for 6 months with 9 VMs and unfortunately I had to reinstall my host OS W10.

Now when I change the size of a window also the resolution gets changed. Before it kept the resolution and just changed the scaling factor. What is also weird is that the aspect ratio of the window does not remain like it was before my reinstallation.

Does anyone have an idea what this is? I was unable to find anything about this problem, especially as it was working before.

Pls help, it drives me nuts working like this.
