Hi,

I'm running virtualbox-ose on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) AMD64 and have successfully installed FreeDos.

I'm trying to run some dos games (e.g. 7th Guest), but I'm getting stuck because SB16 emulation is not enabled and thus 7thG can't find the right hardware.

I don't get an option to choose between SB16 and AC97 - this should normally appear below the None/OSS/ALSA/Pulse selection box.

Has SB16 been removed, or am I missing something?

If you want SB16, remove the OSE version and install VB from the site. The non-OSE version has SB16 support and other additions like USB support.
