Windows Update

Hello,
I am using Mac OS Sierra as host and Windows 7 as guest.
Windows Update does not want to update although the system tells me there is an update available.
Same for Windows Defender.
Anyone with a similar problem ?

Why do you believe it is a VirtualBox problem and not a Windows one?
(Hint: it is a Windows problem, search for it on the internet, it happens in real systems as well)

You probably got a point there but I honestly have no idea where the problem comes from.

The problem comes from Windows itself. Take a look at "WSUS Offline".

You were right, Virtual Box was not to blame.
The WSUS did not help but I followed your advice to search Internet and I found the cure.
