Thank you very much for your attention!

Friends,

I contacted MS support that instructed me to remove the Intel (on board) and nvidia video adapters ... and install again ....

I did this, but it did not work ...

Then I started the VM ... right click, start option, Startup ... and then it worked ... I do not know if this leads to some unwanted effect ... but the VM is now working!

If you have more information post here ..

Good on you for checking with Microsoft on the CBS.log, Sounds like you at least got things working.

For the forum's benefit, could you please give us a bit more info?

After removing and re-installing the host video drivers, you report:

What did not work? Starting the VM? How did you try to start the VM at this point when it still did not work?

Then you report:

I am assuming you right-clicked the VM in the list then chose something from the right-click menu - is this correct?

There is no "Startup" option in the VM's right-click Start option, only "Normal", "Headless", and "Detachable". Which one did you pick?

Did not Start VM !
Even after removing and reinstalling the video drivers, restarting the notebook, starting the VM continued with error !

Yes.

Detachable.

For the record, I think it may be something related to the network cards, since I use the GUEST machine to access the HOST machine data. This has already happened with my other notebook, but just reinstalling VB and importing the VM and redoing the network connections, it's back up and running again.

OK, Detachable, along with Headless, are the start modes that do not use 3D acceleration, which would probably be the reason why your guest can start without having fixed the opengl32.dll issue. If I remember right Virtualbox uses OpenGL to accelerate 3D tasks through the host's video card, and if the OpenGL system isn't signed & secure, there could be the problem the guest won't start normal.

I don't think the network card is part of the issue (do network cards use OpenGL?).

I'm searching ...
Detachable, along with Headless, are the start modes that do not use 3D acceleration, ...
So in settings, acceleration ... "Enable 3D Acceleration" and "Enable 2D Video Acceleration" are disabled ... this was no longer to solve the problem?

Your ultimate problem is the openGL problem on the host OS. You were able to work around by starting the VM in a mode that according to the manual does not use 3D acceleration. I don't normally use 3D acceleration in my guests, and I don't have an openGL problem on my host so I don't know where to look for the solution to your computer's problem, but at least you got the VM running again, and hopefully it doesn't need to do anything that requires the 3D acceleration. If you had 3D checked, and then unchecked it, then you were able to start the guest normally, then it would appear even more that the openGL problem is where you need to look. Solutions for that wouldn't be found here, since Virtualbox doesn't provide the Opengl32.dll.

Surely the problem is in Opengl32.dll and also that Opengl32.dll has nothing to do with network card! But I managed to raise the network problem too! Enabling the network cards does not work even with the "Detachable" option. I am researching here since I solved this in the other notebook, once I come to a conclusion put here the problem and the solution.

Thanks a lot for the explanation about 3D acceleration! I'll keep an eye on that detail!
