Windows Server 2012 R2 Guest Crash - Requesting assistance

I have created a Windows Server 2012 R2 Guest VM that is running a production workload on a Debian Jessie linux host, running headless.

Over the past few weeks, its become prone to crashing frequently (a few times per day). The machine always reboots each time.

Windows error logs report:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff802465d033a, 0xffffd0012bbbcfd0, 0x0000000000000000).
VirtualBox log files show the following each time this happens:
19:57:53.000966 VMMDev: vmmDevHeartbeatFlatlinedTimer: Guest seems to be unresponsive. Last heartbeat received 4 seconds ago
19:57:53.599787 AHCI#0: Reset the HBA
19:57:53.602257 AHCI#0: Port 0 reset
19:58:00.063813 ACPI: Reset initiated by ACPI
19:58:00.063861 Changing the VM state from 'RUNNING' to 'RESETTING'
The Windows crash dump analysis seems to suggest a driver problem, but I can't determine which one, or if that's a bogus analysis.

I've done a lot of searching and tried a variety of fixes, including:
  • More resources (memory, CPUs)
  • Reducing to a single CPU
  • Virtualbox from Oracle's repository
  • Virtualbox from Debian's repository
  • Applying all Windows updates
  • Ensuring guest additions, extension pack, and VirtualBox versions all match, after above updates
  • Adjusting the heartbeat timeout for the VM
Can someone take a look at my setup and see if there's something obvious I'm doing wrong?

Attached is the .vbox file defining the VM, sample Virtualbox log, and a mini dump from Windows.

Since Virtualbox happily resets the guest when the guest OS BSODs, I'd say Virtualbox is working and this is a Windows debugging problem. A quick googling for "windows server 2012 bsod 3b" brought me to this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 351c9b330a, which brought me to this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 5ee5d8669d on what to do with the dmp file.

I have also used the Windows SDK toolkit (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... s.85).aspx) to interpret dmp files. If the dmp points to a Virtualbox driver, try uninstalling the Guest Additions.
