I have Linux Mint Mate Live in VirtualBox (I set the share folder "Desktop")
But I get ERROR:

"The folder contents could not be displayed."
"You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of "sf_Desktop"."

What should I set?

I am not a Virtualbox expert but I faced the same issue and found a solution.

Try modifying the permissions or the owner of the /media/sf_Desktop folder.
You can use the commands "chmod" or "chown".

Depending on the version of Virtualbox that you are using, adding your user to the group "vboxsf" may also solve this.
