UPDATE

Post by JohnnieG »

First an update. I have successfully reinstalled VirtualBox with Win XP on my main hard drive, giving XP 10 GB. I have PCLOS2007 with 20GB and WinXP on dual boot with 20GB on an internal IDE 40GB. The Win VM has increased the hard drive capacity to 50GB!!!

The ultimate goal is to one day remove the Windows dual boot as VM is a much better alternative for me. I only need windows for Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver and I like the ability to toggle back and forth without rebooting my computer.

WinXP VM is now running on "seamless" mode" which is way cool! I am able to open and and save to my common files on the second internal IDE 40 GB hard drive.

Thanks for all of the help and interest.

Johnnie, by definition an update follows on from other topics. You'd be better deleting this as a topic and adding it to one of your earlier topics.

But good to see that this is all coming together for you. Terry
