no longer able to bootup Win7 guest after resize

I have a Linux host (opensuse 13.1) running a Win7 guest for the past few years on Virtualbox Version 5.0.28 r111378. Today I increased the size of the guest HD, and now when I try to restart the guest I see the following in the log:
00:00:03.094512 VMMDev: Guest Log: BIOS: Boot from Hard Disk 0 failed
00:00:03.095685 VMMDev: Guest Log: No bootable medium found! System halted.

Command I used:
VBoxManage modifyhd "/home/ddiersen/VirtualBox VMs/Winders7/Windoze7.vdi" --resize 150000

The VBoxManager sees the update in size: from 97.48 GB to 146.48 GB.

I hope it's not related to this: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/16099
Take a look also at the linked discussions and tickets.

Socratis,
I did see that, I think, (from a post 5 days ago?) and I'm hoping that block file change is not the case. I'm not sure how to check if that is the case for me. Do I need to send a hexdump?

Check the discussion linked in the ticket, and follow mpack's directions there. Hopefully he'll drop by and let you know.
