After compiling drivers from VirtaulBox-5.0.28-r111378 at kernel version 4.8.2
Fail with mod_timer_pending implication.

File patch attached.

Thanks. A similar fix is already part of VBox 5.1.8. Backported the same fix to the 5.0 branch where it will appear with the next 5.0.x maintenance release.

latest "official" VBox(deb) update was yesterday.
I am using live/prod kernel 4.8 from today customs compilation.
