HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS - NEW INSTALL

Could someone advise how to go about the installation of windows 7 onto my virtual machine on my Windows 10 Asus Laptop.

Fantastic . I shall have a read and absorb and see if I can make it happen ! for the avoidance of doubt I am in the same situation as a lot of users that is my older software will not operate on the new 10 platform.

Am I correct in my assumption I need to have a licenced copy of windows 7 for example to install ?

All advise welcome , again many thanks for your super fast reply , appreciated.......

Sho' nuff! Virtualbox doesn't come with any OS's, you have to provide them. Microsoft does have evaluation copies of Windows you can install temporarily, but if you want to keep the install you'd need to get a valid license key.
