WIN10 - WIN XP internet share

Post by Lanvc »

Hello!

Sorry for my English.

I have win 10 and wifi internet connection (home router). Is it possible to share internet on my virtual Win XP? Step by step solution is really needed. I know how to share LAN interenet to virtual but sharing wifi is problem for me.

Hoping for help.

You should not need to do anything at all. It should just work with the default settings. You did not change them, did you?

When you create a vm, its network setting is NAT. When you start the vm, it should have Internet access automatically because NAT let's it share the host's Internet connection.

Is the XP vm network card set to obtain an IP address automatically (also the default setting). If it is and the vm setting is NAT it should just work. If it does not, do an ipconfig on the XP guest and post the output here.
