Hi,
I'm in trouble with an USB wifi dongle (TP-Link WN722N - https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TP-LINK_TL-WN722N) when attached on Win7 guest machine running on VirtualBox (rls 5.0.12) hosted by a Win7 based PC.
Basically Win7 guest recognize it and even though is able to install the correct driver for it, the device cannot start (Windows error code 10).
Ca you help me ?

Re: TP-Link WN722N cannot start on Win7 guest
The USB implementation on this stick (and probably others using the same Atheros chip) is utter crap and violates the USB specification in several ways.
If you use xHCI in your guest (separate driver download required), it might work with recent VirtualBox releases, but it can't be guaranteed because this particular device is so screwy (the host USB stack may object, too). The other option is getting a different USB WiFi device, newer/faster/cheaper.
