w10 without any hardware virtualization, why not?
Host's no virtualization VT-x/AMD-V, and e.g. VMware allows install Windows10 guest (32-bit) and contrary to it VirtualBox allows only for w7 as the highest possible Windows version, why?

Alright, however still VirtualBox supports w7 32bin without VT-x/AMD-V,
why can't it support w10 in the same manner?

Because Windows greater than 8 doesn't like it. It won't run. It's like asking me why Windows 10 won't run on my old 80386.

Well, why does VMware run w8 & w10 on the hardware without VT-x/AMD-V?

Because they think it makes business sense to support such configuration and we don't.

However WHY???
Please try to answer in little more explanatory manner
you are so mysterious.
Why can they perceive such a configuration as practical enough to sell it and you can not?

I think you answered your question there. There is zero customer demand for Windows 10 guest support in VirtualBox without hardware virtualization.Pattyyivi wrote:Why can they perceive such a configuration as practical enough to sell it and you can not?
Obviously we can't speak for VMware.
