Hey guys,
I'm using Ubuntu as a host with Windows XP sp2 guest and I have USB working in my Virtual Box application but for some reason when I insert a USB device the Ubuntu host grabs it instead of the virtual box guest, so I have to goto Devices > USB and select the device.
Is there any way I can have the guest Automatically get the USB device?
It does it that way in Windows and Mac OSX so I'm confused why its doing it the opposite in Ubuntu.
Thanks
Tave

The USB settings are the same on all systems (that is empty filter so every device is picked up) and the Guest window has focus? That's the only thing I can think of why it wouldn't work properly. If I insert a device while the VM is running on the foreground, it grabs it automatically.
