When I try to enable 2d Acceleration I get "virtual machine is setup to use Video Stream Acceleration, acceleration will be disabled"
When I start up I get a message that your virtual box is using Video Stream acceleration and may slow down your VM.

How to I fix this? Not sure how to get OUT of video acceleration mode.

AFAIK Linux guest can not use 2D acceleration in VBox. You can stop this warning by disabling it in the guest settings.
