That is my problem when the windows 7 is install, it create 2 partitions, one from system and other from users, if you use "modifyhd" option to resize, all vdi are damaged, you know what is a secure option to resize?.

Try Mpack's CloneVDI
Read the instructions, but it's an easy program, and it does not change the original guest virtual disk file, so any problems don't destroy your guest.
