Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone could summarise the benefits of running 5.1.4 over the older 5.0.26?
I currently run 5.0.26 on both Windows 10 and Linux Mint 18 hosts, running Windows 10, XP and Linux guests without
any major issues.
I've read the feature-list of the newer version, but what are the real-world benefits (and pitfalls!) of the 5.1.x branch?
Cheers,
Mike.
5.1.4 vs 5.0.26 - what are the pros/cons of upgrading?

If there are no new features that you need/want then always remember the old proverb " if it ain't broke, don't fix it ". There are some issues with the newest releases and still need to be fixed. Not all affect every user but you could be one that it does.

If you like to create snapshots and later delete them, do not upgrade. Deleting snapshots is broken in 5.1.4. Really wish I hadn't upgraded.

Thanks for the comments...
I gave 5.1.4 a quick whirl, but ha d a couple of nasty crashes (possibly USB-related), so switched back to 5.0.26
Cheers,
Mike.
