Can XP client convert C: fm NTFS to FAT32 for SSD?

VB 5.1.4 r1 10228
Linux Mint 18 host
I have a single client, a stripped down WInXP (isolated from the internet) used for TurboCAD.
The XP virtual boot drive (C:) is formatted NTFS.
Everything else in my life is Linux Mint 18.
My LM18 is now installed on a SSD. I like the speed increase which is dramatic
BUT I read that using NTFS on a SSD vm is not recommended because
"the number of administrative writes that NTFS does will shorten the life of the SSD."
Is there any way to convert the virtual C: drive from NTFS to FAT32?
By convert I include other techniques such as:
exporting the virtual drive then converting manually then importing
or clone the vm with reformatting
or anything else.
TIA
