hi i am not that good with VMs and i want to get the best quality music on DOS and i want to know how to install a awe 64 card on dos can you pls help me

It's a virtual machine, so unless you have that "awe 64" card in virtual form then it can't be part of the discussion. Btw you'd also have needed DOS drivers for it, which will not exist (the standard was SB16).
AFAIK, the only virtual sound card provided by VirtualBox that DOS can use, is the SoundBlaster 16.

DOS has no functionality to play music (or even any sound at all beyond simple beeps). Could you be more specific? What kind of music are you talking about?jeeff wrote:best quality music on DOS

Run DOS on a physical PC, most likely. Or program a suitable simulated sound card and insert it into the source code.
