Were these guests in a saved state when you upgraded/transported? Do you see a discard saved state when in the main manager for these guests and is it highlighted?

Note: partial logs are of no use.

About w2k3 VM. When VBox was upgraded VM was restarted, updates guest additions and restarted again. After that VM was started, tuned and closed with save state. When i try restore VM it crashes.

Yes.

Last line of partial log show assertion failure. I think it will be useful. Win10 VM was saved on prev version VBox.

Discard the saved state and see if the guest will recover. Then see if you still have saved state issues and repost back.

1. Discard the saved state of w2k3 VM.
2. Start VM.
3. After VM was loaded, i close it with save the machine state.
4. Trying restore VM. VM restored successfully.
5. Trying using of VM (start applications) - VM crashed without any error messages.

Can you explain this a little better? Does the guest start and then crash when you try to us a app in the guest?

Not absolutely so. VM can work some time, and then suddenly fall. Falling happen at the moments when there is an up-dating of the VM screen - for example open or close windows.

I don't have a 16.04 host to test this on but all indications are that it may have something to do with this. My 14.04 series host is rock solid so you might want to post a ticket at bugtracker and see what the DEVs have to say. In the mean time you might try to downgrade to 5.1.2 http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/ 0r even a test build https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds
