Graphics Displaying Outside of Window Frame with 3D Acceleration turned on.

I'm having a very strange problem running the Firestorm Viewer displaying graphics outside of the window frame with 3D Acceleration turned on (also the log-in controls are not visible.) See attachment. In fact I can move the window frame (outlined in red and partially covered by graphics) around and the graphics don't move around with it. I cannot login because no controls are visible.
It works properly with 3D Acceleration turned off

It works properly with 3D Acceleration turned off, but then I get such a low frame rate it's unusable.
