Windows 2008 virtual to physical no USB no login

Hi all,
due to some changes we decided to run our windows 2008 server physical after running it virtual for 4 years. We are running Virtualbox 4.3.30r on a Centos 5.11 host
the process of making the virtual machine physical was no issue at all. And with the correct raid driver (DELL perc 6) the Windows server boots nicely.
problem is that when it finishes (press ctrl + alt + del) I got no USB and that server (Dell poweredge r300) don't have ps/2
so after booting I got this nice login screen but no way to log on. unfortunately there is no LAN driver loaded so RDP is also no option.
I have tried installing the USB drivers that are shipped with the chipset driver package but this also doesn't help.
Also tried several reboots (safe and normal) but nothing helped.
I would really appreciate some help with this problem.
