Pretty much like the title says. When I change the mac on my windows 7 guest it causes network to go down, as soon as I restore the old mac it comes back. I have been able to successfully do this on other hosts and guests what could be the issue!?

I assume you mean that the Win7 guest can't use the internet any more, not that you bring down the internet or even your host network.

Why would you expect the guest Internet connection to survive a change of MAC? I don't know how well Windows will cope with NICs apparantly coming and going, but it's going to cause mayhem in your router.
