I'm running VirtualBox 5.0 5.0_5.0.26-108824-Ubuntu-xenial

If I try to install virtualbox 5.1 I get an error: Conflicts with the installed package virtualbox 5.0

If I uninstall VirtualBox 5.0 5 and then try to install virtualbox 5.1 I get an error: libqt5openl5 "Dependency is not satisfiable"

Any assistance appreciated...

Looks like you are trying to install both the Ubuntu fork and the genuine VirtualBox. You need to choose one or the other (you have to uninstall the other).

If you want support here then you can't be using any forked version. See the downloads area for the official downloads.
