Is there any consensus on which type of disk controller is best for a Windows XP guest, or other Windows versions?
By best I mean, fastest/most efficient/lowest host CPU use.
I've successfully installed Intel SATA and LSI Logic SCSI drivers and emulated controllers, and moved the HD of an existing XP VM from IDE to either controller. It works fine on either, but is one better than the other? What about Buslogic SCSI or LSI Logic SAS?
