The support for Linux is extremely poor. *.rpm etc are available for download knowing they will not work.
I've spent countless hours trying to get VirtualBox to work including shared files and USB devices. While they typically work in MS-Windows, Linux support is worse than crap.
The responses from moderators are very cryptic and most often condescending. The numerous inquiries asking for support is testament with the very poor integration with Linux distros with an attitude of, "well, try this." It doesn't matter the countless hours spent trying to get VirtualBox to work.
The present moderators need to be replaced with people willing to help, and stop replying with cryptic responses.
Making a product that works would be helpful too.

Welcome to the VirtualBox forums 'mumblered'. Since this is your first post I would urge you to read the "Howtos and Tutorials" section, especially the "Rules and FAQ". You should have most of your questions answered.
I'm not sure I understood the exact question, issue or problem that you're having from your post. Would you mind re-phrasing it?

Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

And specific examples of poor response would also be useful, since vague whinging won't earn any respect.
More likely to win respect would be for you to demonstrate examples of helpfulness to other users. It's a bit rich to criticise others while you have 0 posts of a helpful nature yourself.
Final point: this is not a support site. It's a user self help site where users discuss problems with other users. You are not an Oracle customer, you do not have a support contract. Other users may help you if they feel like it - which they probably won't if all you do is complain about the poor quality of the free help you get as a non customer.
