No error while starting Windows 7, but the Guest suddenly closes - and I the red button in virtualboxmanager appears.

OK so the original issues with the host and VBox including the Linux guest are fixed, correct? In that case I would create a new topic in the Windows guest section as Windows is not my strong suite.

Yep - Thanks a lot ...
Just in the moment it was possible for me to enter safe mode in Win7 - there were 5.0.18 tools ...
I've removed and installed 5.1.2 - and it crashed again ... it's not to bad to reinstall the vm, but the host works now - thanks.

Hi,
I just installed the Virtualbox Version 5.1.2 r108956 and extension pack in my ubuntu desktop version 16.04 LTS and i'm facing the same error. Has someone fixed this error? how can I clean up what I installed to try it again?
