I just installed version 5.0.26, and I cannot open it with Firefox 47.01. I am able to open version 4 series, but 5 series just shows the bars spinning in a circle.
I can open it with chrome, but I prefer Firefox.
What do I need to do to get Firefox to work?

Sorry, I was referring to what I would call the control console/dashboard, where you configure and install the guests.

VirtualBox does not have a console/dashboard. Are you referring to something else?

It is a screen I access on my server by going to http:///server ip/phpvertualbox. It allows me to add and configure a guest os, stop and start guest a os, or delete a guest os. I am not sure what else to call it other than possibly the interface.

You called it fine (except a little misspelling). It's "phpVirtualBox" and since it's that that's not working, you would have to look for support from them.
