VBox crashes as Windows 10 guest starts booting. It doesn't get past the initial Windows 10 splash screen.

Virtualbox version is 5.1.0 r108711, Guest Additions are installed but they are for Virtualbox 5.0.26 because I haven't been able to get into the guest them for 5.1.

Host is Ubuntu 14.04.4 with 12GB of memory

Guest is Windows 10 64-bit, 4GB of memory

Log file is attached

Not according to the logs. Something is not right in there...
00:00:00.643525 Host RAM: 3944MB total, 3102MB available
00:00:01.194974 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000100000000 (4 294 967 296, 4 GB)
The primary issue seems to be that VirtualBox recognizes that you have 3944 MB total in your host. Then, it obviously will fail, since you have 3102 MB available and you're asking to allocate 4096 MB.

The question is why does VirtualBox think that you have only 3944 MB total. Check your host.

Yes it shows you have 4GB of RAM. Either you have a RAM issue or someone sold you a bad deal.

RAM issue. I put the 12 in myself and have been using it for years. Fixing now.
