Forgive me if I'm being a pork-chop, but when I start VirtualBox 5.0.24 on my Win 10 PC, I get the message about a later version (5.0.26) being available.
Why does it not say 5.1.0, since that's the latest current version?
Also, when I go to the download server for VirtualBox, the file dates on the v5.1.0 release is 12-Jul-2016, and v5.0.26 is 18-Jul-2016 - why is that?
Cheers,
Mike.
5.0.26? Where did that come from?

Re: 5.0.26? Where did that come from?
Sometimes the devs decide NOT to update the update servers (no pun intended) until they're sure that a new release (especially a .0 release) won't cause more problems than issues it resolves. I believe that at some point I've seen a .0 version skipped in the update notification and went straight to the next .2 version. But, I could be wrong, it was a long time ago and usually I'm running pre-releases.mingle wrote:Why does it not say 5.1.0, since that's the latest current version?
Also, besides the link that MPerz gave you, here's another one: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=78745
