I have a Ubuntu 15.10 Guest, Mac OS X host, Virtualbox 5.1, with 5.1 guest additions installed. Drag and Drop was working a while ago, but recently it seems to have stopped working. Here's the weird part. It works from guest to host. From host to guest, if I drag a file to the desktop, nothing appears, but if I look in the file is there. The file is getting transferred, but not moved to the correct directory, which makes me believe that there is some permission issue in the guest.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I've never had DnD reliably work on Linux guests. There are many reports about this around the forums.

Yes, plenty of people, including yours truly. Haven't seen a way to fix it.
