Detach ISO operating system

I did some research on the following question but couldn't find a proper answer for my case.
Can I detach the ISO operating system on my host computer I used to create the VirtualBox machine? I tried to do it and got a warning saying "One or more virtual hard disks, CD/DVD or floppy disk image files are not currently accessible." Would it be a problem if I click "ignore"?
If it may create issues, can I move the ISO operating system somewhere else and then reattach it do the VirtualBox machine?

The ISO is the installation medium. If you have installed it properly the OS is now installed on your virtual hard drive and the ISO is no longer needed.

Shut down the vm and have a look at its settings. Is the ISO still attached to its optical drive? If it is, can you detach it there?

Great, I'll try that. Thanks for your help.
I have another question.
I want to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for anonymous web surfing, is there any specific settings I should use?

One question per thread please. The answer to your VPN questions will have nothing to do with the title of this thread. Search the forums for existing questions/answers that may help you and if not, start a new thread.

Hi Socratis,
I did some research about that yesterday and somehow I found a topic related to my question but I am not sure if it's going to work because it's not for Linux host environment... I am quite confused...
I open a new thread (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=78690).
Thanks for your help.
